The 'Bochara' pattern, which was registered in 1847, is a chinoiserie motif showing dogwood trees in full springtime bloom behind a pagoda on which two figures appear on the balcony. Two more figures appear on a bridge connecting the pagoda to the image of a large garden urn containing peonies in full bloom. The border of the twelve-sided plate has alternating patterns of flowers and geometric designs.
